Progress for Argument Dialogue

Originally for my 2nd rough pass I was going to go through the whole shot and put all the primary and secondary breakdowns. However, I wanted to try out a new process where I tackle the animation chunk by chunk. I plan to get work on one small chunk at a time, animate that chunk up to near final animation and then move on to animating the next.

May Sketchbook Pages, Frog Types, Kid Design

Super quick sketches drawn using a brush pen. I had the idea to use a random word generator to practice making quick yet clear drawings. Using the generator keeps things quick because I'm not slowed down by having to think of what to draw next. I also get the chance to practice thinking on my toes. I got the idea from games like Drawful, Pictionary and Sketch from Game & Wario, that give you a random prompt and a short amount of time to visually depict it.

I'm working on making several different "enemies" based off of different types of frogs.

My design trials for the daughter from my 2D dialogue animation.

Progress Shots

Working on making digi-paintings for a sketch I originally roughed out for a Drawtober submission and for one of the baseball players from my September sketchbook.

Aug & Sept Sketchbook pages and Progress Pics

Below are some mouth studies for my design of Michael Jones from Achievement Hunter. I am using this model to replace the stand-in model for the dialogue animation I did in Toon Boom. You can find that dialogue piece here: Michael Dialogue Piece

And here are a couple of progress shots.
